Pinealon (Glu-Asp-Arg or EDR) is a synthetic tripeptide bioregulator derived from Cortexin, designed to protect and repair neurons, enhance cognitive function, and slow brain aging.

It works by interacting with DNA to stimulate protein synthesis, reduce oxidative stress, and increase irisin levels, which supports neuronal regeneration.

It is primarily studied for its neuroprotective effects.

Pinealon is considered a “geroprotector,” aimed at reducing the rate of aging in brain tissues.

While studies suggest significant benefits in neuroprotection, it is important to note that many studies on this peptide are based on animal models (rats) and in vitro research.
