Research and Potential Benefits (Preclinical)
Most of the potential benefits of BPC-157 are based on extensive animal research. These studies suggest a wide range of regenerative and protective effects.
- Accelerated Tissue Healing: BPC-157 has shown promise in improving the healing of various musculoskeletal soft tissues, including muscles, tendons, ligaments, and bones. It may be beneficial for injuries like tendon ruptures and muscle tears by improving the structural and functional outcomes.
- Anti-Inflammatory Effects: The peptide appears to modulate inflammatory pathways, which may help alleviate pain and swelling associated with conditions like arthritis or inflammatory bowel disease.
- Gastrointestinal Health: BPC-157, which is derived from a protein in human gastric juice, has demonstrated significant cytoprotective effects in the alimentary canal in animal models and has been investigated in limited human clinical trials for ulcerative colitis.
- Organ and Nerve Protection: Preclinical studies indicate BPC-157 may offer protective effects in various organs (liver, pancreas, heart, kidneys) and has shown neuroprotective properties in models of traumatic brain injury and spinal cord compression.
For research use only, not to be used in clinical trials involving humans. Documentation is for information only.
Note:
With this option, we will mix it for you with bacteriostatic water and put it into a disposable pen (no vial received). The pen offers easy and accurate dosing for your research purposes, adjustable from 1 to 60 iu’s. It comes complete with enough alcohol swabs and needles to complete your research, all contained in a case.
If you already have a reusable pen you can also buy this peptide premixed in a cartridge only (see alternate product).
